Manila Airport Notes (NAIA)

  • Most international long-haul departs Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 (KLM departs T1)
  • Arrive 3–4 hours before international flight
  • Travel tax: ₱1,620 (paid at airport if not bundled in ticket)
  • Bring passport + visa printout + return ticket + hotel/invitation letter (immigration may ask)

Schiphol Airport (AMS) — Arrival

  • Major hub, very efficient
  • Schengen entry: passport stamp at Border Control
  • Customs: green channel if nothing to declare
  • Connection to Amsterdam Centraal: direct train (~17 min, every few mins)
  • Connection to other NL cities: direct trains from Schiphol's underground station
